on tuesday or wednesday room 2 and 4 had a guest speaker come and talk to us about india her name was di she showed us Bindhi,costumes and jewellery.These things are very important to india!i asked the question........why is the river ganges so sacred does anyone know if yes please tell me!

Bellow i have talked about some indian dancing and how room 2 are discovering this cultures fantastic dance! most indian dances tells a story our class' dance is based on a boy who longs for a drum he asks his mum if he can get one but they are poor, so the boy goes out on a mission to get it.Along his way he meets many people and helps them. In the end he gets his drum.

INDIAN DANCE

At the momment room2 have been learning about india and there cultural dance!today we had Dean McKerras come and help us chorograph our dance moves.Here is one of the dance moves we have the butterfly!during the end of the practice we were all so tired lets just hope on the night that we do it we will be all ready!but you will have to wait and see to hear more until week 7 term 3 !
