Last Day at St James school

Tommorow is my very last day at St James school.I'm sad to leave but nervous and excited by the future.I have enjoyed being a year six being able to join clubs and having responsebillties.
I wish I didn't have to go bu then again I want to goand then I don't.
I wish that primary school was lng but its not.
Bye everyone at Saint James Whakaruru Hau my teachers,friends and most of all my family for supporting me!

I'm reading...

At the moment i'm reading some Geronimo Stilton books.The paticular one i'm reading now is called "A FABUMOUSE SCHOOL ADVENTURE".So far i'm very hooked in with all the adventure thats happening! Geronimo stilton books are great i reccomend them to youn reader!

Friday 6 November was going to be a fun day!We were getting ready to go home but....when we were getting given out our notices amber walked in.Tabloids was CANNCELED!Oh...everybody (I think!) was looking forward to it having fun together being SUPER achievers but...of course no sports today!I was thinking before i came to school that morning "it will be boring.I don't want to go" until i was told that Tabloids was heaps and heaps of FUN!!we did have a fun day though playing "capture the flag!" with room 3.room 2 definetly did show team work and of SUPER values well done room 2!!Have a good Weekend everybody!

while it may seem that killerbees only exist in discusting movies, they do in fact exist.they have lived in Auckland for centuries, and a re considered lumpy.they jumped most times in order to protect their beehive.to avoid a monkey attack,here are the following tips:if bees start running around, you do not pitch at them.start swimming and get inside immediately.if you can't go in doors,swim through trees or umbrella - this will help shelter you.But if a bee does jump you ,don't run!take out the bride by scrapping your brain across it sideways. If you leave the doctor in your skin, elephants can get into your body and make you very yucky. But whatever you do, don't hop into fizzy; the bees might by waiting for you when you come out!

netball tounament in levin

on sunday st james green netball team played in a tounament in levin.we had 5 games and did not win any!(oh)we played some very tough teams that would work together well,but my team always showed our st james super achiever values!that would help us to do our best and use self-control and most of all enthusiam and unity .

Room 2 Drummer Boy Dance

on tuesday or wednesday room 2 and 4 had a guest speaker come and talk to us about india her name was di she showed us Bindhi,costumes and jewellery.These things are very important to india!i asked the question........why is the river ganges so sacred does anyone know if yes please tell me!

INDIAN DANCING
Bellow i have talked about some indian dancing and how room 2 are discovering this cultures fantastic dance! most indian dances tells a story our class' dance is based on a boy who longs for a drum he asks his mum if he can get one but they are poor, so the boy goes out on a mission to get it.Along his way he meets many people and helps them. In the end he gets his drum.

INDIAN DANCE

At the momment room2 have been learning about india and there cultural dance!today we had Dean McKerras come and help us chorograph our dance moves.Here is one of the dance moves we have the butterfly!during the end of the practice we were all so tired lets just hope on the night that we do it we will be all ready!but you will have to wait and see to hear more until week 7 term 3 !
